I’ve always wanted a .22LR M1911. But I wanted one that was truly my own. So after acquiring a Kimber Rimfire Target slide/barrel group, I ordered a unique Caspian frame. Unseen from this side, the plunger tube is not staked on. Rather, it is integral to the frame. The main thing is the custom personalized serial number. I guess I can make up to 998 more pistols!
The pistol is mostly complete. I have to change out the old blued magazine catch. The main thing left is to fit the Ed Brown beaver tail grip safety.
