Rifle match results

Saturday’s triple header showed mixed results. In the President’s match I picked up my rifle and dropped my brain. I was jerking the trigger like I was having a seizure. Needless to say, the results were dismal.

Next up was the World War One rifle match. All rifles had to be manufactured prior to or during the conflict. My 1916 SMLE fit the bill perfectly.

To make up for the miserable showing in the previous match, I managed to use the old .303 to turn in the top score.

Swiss Schützenfest.

I turned in another medal score in the Feldschiessen earning another Karte!

  1. Nice job, John! Was the 1916 SMLE manufactured primarily for WWI?
