    Impressive Big John! As always!

  2. Dierk Lüthi says:

Do you report Feldschiessen results to Switzerland, which qualifies you for free ammunition and the cards and medals? I.o.w. Are you an accredited ‘Auslandschweizer Schuetzenverein? If so, how are you affected by the discontinuation of support from Switzerland regarding the ammo supply? If not, how do you source your ammo?

    best, Dierk

    • Hi Dierk,

We are not accredited as we shoot reduced targets at 100 yards as opposed to the regulation 300 meters. As such, our medals and certificates are locally produced. Most of us shoot GP-11 though a few reload. I am down to my last case of 480 rounds of GP-11. We are shooting later production GP-11 without the wax ring. I did secure a bunch of PPU 7.5x55mm so I would have some boxer brass. In my K31, PPU is about 90% as accurate as GP-11.
