For me, the first match of this new year will be in March. A triple header, the day will be spent on the Service Rifle match, the Combat Rifle match and the Swiss Schützenfest!
In April, the big event is the CMP Eastern Games in Butner, NC.
Again I will be firing in the M1 Carbine match.
In addition, I have signed up for four rifle matches as usual. In the past I took my M1 Garand and M1903A3 rifles and fired two matches each with them.
This year I will add one more rifle. Since the CMP separated the Modern Military Rifle match into standard and unlimited classes, I will take my AR-15A2 as-issue rifle. Each rifle will fire one match with the fourth match being fired by the highest scoring of the three.
