2017 Ammunition forecast

Christmas is over, so the reloading season will soon begin in earnest. Gauging by last year’s competition shooting expeditures, I look to fire the following for record. Between my M1 Garand and M1903A3 rifles, 425 rounds of .30-06 will be tallied for score in the CMP matches. Over the course of the Swiss rifle season, my K31 will go through 480 rounds of 7.5x55mm in the Obligatorisches Programm, the Feldschiessen and the Einselwettschiessen. For PPC competion, my Kimber Custom II will burn up 1008 rounds of .45ACP. These totals don’t include several times those amounts just for practice.
