Recently, I pulled the National Match sights from my M14 and replaced them with stock USGI sights to be legal for the CMP matches. This winter has been brutal so practice has been nil. Yesterday was the first decent day that I could get to the club for practice. I got the rifle zeroed fairly quickly then jumped right into the standing position. This is my Achilles heel, so my limited time was spent on it.
My best six round group fired standing was a 51 out of a possible 60. Much more practice is needed!
